Carl Sebastian Lindberg was born in Helsinki in 1978. He graduated from the Finnish Academy of Fine Art in Helsinki in 2008. Since 2003 when he was an exchange student at the École Nationale supérieure des Beux-Arts in Paris he has been working primarily with the moving image. He lives and works in Helsinki.
His work has been shown in group- and solo-exhibithions in Finland and abroad, as well as being broadcasted and shown at festivals. His work has been shown at among other places: Kiasma / Museum of Contemporary Art, Yle Tv2, Yle FST, Muu-gallery, Galleria Huuto, Galleri Sinne, Taidehalli/Kunsthalle, Helsinki, Poriginal Gallery / Pori Museum of Art, Backlight photo festival, Tampere, Jyväskylä Museum of Art and Hämeenlinna Museum of Art.
